On Friday, June 1, at 7 p.m., Christ Church organist Parker Kitterman will play Fisk’s Opus 150 in its First Friday debut. Featured will be contemporary music, including a recent work by David Arcus based on the so-called Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, traditional classics by Bach and Rheinberger, and transcriptions of piano and chamber works by Claude Debussy, whose 100th anniversary we celebrate this year. Free and followed by a tour of the organ.
Then come back for “Patriotic Pipes” on July 4! At 7 p.m., Parker Kitterman and Wesley Parrott will present a fun, crowd-friendly program of all-American music. Free and followed by a tour of the organ.
Starting March 12th, tourism hours for Christ Church will be Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. -12 p.m., and Sunday from 12:30 – 5 p.m. We will resume our regular tourism schedule in May upon the completion of organ voicing. For more information, please see our Hours and Admission page.
