(Updated) Neighborhood House Statement and Farmers Market Time Change

Category: Announcements Tags: ,

(6/3 update) Because of thunderstorms, Farmers Market pick-ups will take place INSIDE Neighborhood House today from 2-4 p.m. Social distancing protocol will be in place.

Christ Church Neighborhood House stands with those fighting for a better, just society through protest, art and discourse. We mourn the loss of George Floyd and of countless others who have been lost to blatant and systemic racism. Our stage will always be a safe space for Black artists, theatre-makers and musicians to share their work and their stories. We see you, we hear you, and we support the Black lives in our community.

Our hearts are heavy with what is happening in the city and the country, and of course with why it is happening. After speaking with several of our vendors and customers about opening tomorrow (Wednesday, June 3) during a time of social unrest, we have decided to operate our pre-paid, pick-up only Farmers Market at Christ Church from 2-4 p.m.*
