Parking
There is ample parking near both Christ Church and the Christ Church Burial Ground.
Church Service Parking
When attending Christ Church services, classes, and fellowship, you may park free of charge in the lot behind Neighborhood House (on Filbert Street, next to the Arden Theater).
Please display the “ATTENDING SERVICES” sign (available from an usher or the office) on both sides of your dashboard. This also allows free parking on Market, American, and both sides of 2nd Street, but not in the SEPTA bus zone on 2nd Street.
If you receive a parking violations ticket while parking in the allowable spaces during services, give the ticket (or a copy) to the office. Please leave your name with the ticket.
Christ Church Tour Parking
There are several paid lots available around Christ Church. One is the lot behind Neighborhood House (on Filbert Street, next to the Arden Theater). Another is across 2nd from Filbert Street. There is also a garage on 2nd Street between Florist Street and Race Street. You may also find street parking along 2nd Street, Market Street or 3rd Street. Make sure to take note of parking time limit signs and meters that accept credit cards and cash and provide a ticket to display on your dashboard.
Burial Ground Parking
There is a large underground parking garage beneath the Independence Visitor Center with the entrance on 6th Street between Arch and Market Streets. You may also find street parking along 4th Street, 5th Street, Market Street or Arch Street. Make sure to take note of parking time limit signs and meters that accept credit cards and cash and provide a ticket to display on your dashboard.
